Courtney Giardina

Courtney Giardina fell in love with country music at a young age thanks to her parent’s love for it. She still remembers playing her cassette tape over and over of Rhett Akins song “That Ain’t My Truck,” which is still her all-time favorite. While growing up she always loved to write and always found herself singing made up song lyrics wherever she went. While attending college for her degree in marketing, Courtney’s passion for music only grew with internships at radio stations and record labels. She moved from New York to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2012 where she has since published two contemporary romance novels. Her third novel, Behind the Strings, is set to release in 2016 and of course revolves around Nashville’s music scene. She also runs an active blog over at and is a regular blog contributor for I Am That Girl. When she’s not writing, Courtney spends most of her downtime dancing, road tripping and not surprisingly, attending as many live concerts as she can.
