Sara Evans' "I Could Not Ask For More," a hit single off the 2000 album Born to Fly, works as a Thanksgiving song for country music fans with significant others (and for singles struggling to put future relationship goals into words).
The song was written by Diane Warren, the songwriter behind Toni Braxton's "Unbreak My Heart," LeAnn Rimes and Trisha Yearwood's "How Do I Live" and other soundtrack-friendly hits. Edwin McCain recorded it first for the 1999 Kevin Costner film Message in a Bottle. It also appears on McCain's 1999 album Messenger.

An established adult contemporary hit fit Evans' move from the classic honky-tonk and throwback country songs on prior releases toward a more pop-friendly sound, comparable to the greatest hits of Martina McBride, Faith Hill and other peers.
