Shania Twain Really Wants To Sing With Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani

Apparently, we aren't the only ones who are obsessed with Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani as a couple. Superstar Shania Twain loves them so much, she'd love nothing more than to sing in a trio with the two performers. Talk about the country music crossover we never knew we needed! If Shania Twain wants to collaborate, we can only hope that Shelton and Stefani are up for it! We have a feeling that they'd definitely put something together that would appeal to not only major fans of the two country artists, but Stefani's fanbase as well. We'd honestly be over the moon for a duet with Shelton, but adding his bride into the mix is just extra exciting to think about.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Twain discussed her best wishes for the couple's upcoming wedding and her desire to work with them professionally. The country singer seems to have put a lot of thought into this...does she already have some material up her sleeve to pitch?

"Well my goal is to do a trio with them," Twain explained. "So, when I think of Blake and Gwen, I think trio vocals. So that's the first thing I wanna do."

During an episode of her podcast Home Now Radio, Twain admitted she wasn't sure she'd be invited to their big day, but would love to be there and wished them well regardless. She probably has lots of solid marital advice to share as well after everything she endured with her ex-husband Mutt Lange.

"Two sweet, adorable, friendly, talented people," she gushed. "They belong together. I hope they stay married forever and ever and ever and ever and ever...When you set your wedding date, let me know," she said. "Even if I'm not invited, I'll be thinking of you. I'll be sending good thoughts your way."

Twain also told ET that she'd probably need to carefully choose a wedding present just to properly appeal to both The Voice coach and pop star.

"I'd have to send something very, very crossover," she mused. "Because, like, she's glam and he's plaid and jeans."

The country star has a busy schedule ahead of her so we can only hope she'd be able to make time for this dream collaboration. She expressed how excited she was to get back to her Las Vegas residency this December after having to significantly postpone all of her shows last year as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. This is major news for fans of the Grammy Award-winner who have waited months and months to see her live again.

"I have not seen my dancers, my crew, the band, and I haven't seen the fans. So it's time to reunite. Time to party," she said.

"I put so much work into the show, from designing, to building the concept and the wardrobe, to bringing a show together that I think my fans will love. And then all of a sudden it's just stopped. So I was looking forward to getting back into the environment, back on the stage, you know watching it all up and running again."
