There are rumors circulating around Music City that The Real Housewives of Nashville series is currently in the works. According to TMZ, the potential show might not be part of the Real Housewives franchise hosted by Andy Cohen on Bravo. The reality show, focused on specific women in the world of country music, would most likely find a home on E! or Peacock.
According to posts on social media, podcast host and country singer Jana Kramer, Kasi Wicks (Jason Aldean's sister and Chuck Wicks wife), Sabina Rich (Tyler Rich's wife), Alexis Allen (Jimmie Allen's wife) and Jenna Perdue (Dee Jay Silver's wife) are all currently in the process of shooting a pilot together. According to Us Weekly, Luke Bryan's wife Caroline Boyer is also involved, though there is currently no confirmed network behind the series.
While rumors also speculated that Jason Aldean's wife, Brittany Aldean, was also involved, she shot that right down on her Instagram stories.
"I've read a lot of things about myself over all these years. One being that I am a conspiracy theorist. Another being that me and Jason have marital issues and now, apparently, I'm on the 'Real Housewives of Nashville,'" she said.
"You're on the 'Real Housewives of Nashville?' Since When?" Jason asked, riding next to her in the car.
"Apparently, it's new. It was apparently filming going on that I am unaware of. Fake news strikes again," she replied.
It's hard to tell what's really going on in Tennessee but based on the buzz generated by some of the "confirmed cast members" it does seem like some sort of reality TV show is in the works. Jana Kramer posted a photo on her Instagram that looked like she had a camera crew set up in her home and Alexis Allen posted a photo all dolled up alluding to a fun project going on. The group as a whole has also seemed to confirm the potential cast is working on a series in their Instagram stories. We're anxious to get more info once this project gets officially unveiled!
