Adam Boyd of Highland, Mich. has officially outdone every other dad with the elaborate playhouse he built for his two daughters.
According to ABC News, Boyd created the gorgeous two-story playhouse complete with hardwood flooring, crown molding and repurposed pieces that make it feel like a cozy, luxurious home.
The playhouse has a distinct tiny home feel. It has eight-foot ceilings, two stories and a loft. The walls are painted two different shades of purple, separated by a chair rail, with gorgeous architectural detail added.
The little house also has a front porch and a second story balcony that connects to a rock climbing wall. As if that weren't enough, Boyd has plans to add a zip line. You know, in case you didn't already think it was the world's coolest playhouse.
Boyd isn't your average handy Dad, however. He's the President of ATB Building, Inc., so he knows a good deal about carpentry and construction.
When the play house was completed Boyd's sister, Rachel Goldsworthy of Flashes of Life Photography, came by to take pictures of it. Her photos of the incredible backyard creation have quickly gone viral.
Boyd said that he plans to open a new business, thanks to the success of his playhouse. "Spoiled Rotten Homes" as he plans to call it, will offer the service of building similar playhouses.
