Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Brandi Carlile to Headline 2019 Old Settler's Music Festival

Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit and Brandi Carlile will headline next year's Old Settler's Music Festival in Tilmon, Texas. The annual festival will take place from April 11 through April 14 of next year.

Hayes Carll, The Del McCoury Band, Amanda Shires, John Moreland, Paul Cauthen, The Steeldrivers and more will also perform during the Texas festival, now in its 32nd year. For a full list of announced performers, visit the festival's official website.

The first Old Settler's Music Festival was held in Round Rock, Texas in 1988. The festival then moved to Dripping Springs, Texas and later Camp Ben McCulloch in Driftwood, Texas. The festival remained in Driftwood for several years before moving to its longterm home in Tomlin, Texas in 2018.

Isbell and Carlisle will also headline John Prine's All the Best Fest next year in the Dominican Republic. The inaugural festival will run from Nov. 11 through Nov. 15, 2019.

Carlile is also launching her own music festival next year. "The Story" singer will host Girls Just Wanna Weekend, a music festival with an all-woman lineup in Mexico's Riviera Maya. The festival will take place from Jan. 30 to Feb. 3 and feature performances from Maren Morris, Margo Price, Indigo Girls, Patty Griffin, Lucius, Ruby Amanfu, the Secret Sisters and KT Tunstall.
