Preheat your oven to 400ºF and line a 12-cup muffin tin with liners.
In a bowl combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Add in the egg, milk, and butter and stir to combine and moisten. Pour into the muffin tin.
In a small bowl combine the sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over the tops of the muffins. Bake until a toothpick inserted comes out clean, about 20 minutes. Let cool before serving.
Notes
This muffins are so fun as minis! Prepare these in a mini muffin pan and cook for only 10 minutes.
Serve these a tad warm for the best taste!
