The Internet Roasts United Airlines with These Hilarious Memes

Unless you've been living under a rock, you've probably noticed United Airlines in the headlines.

For the few who didn't hear what United Airlines did, here's the rub: After claiming there was an overbooked flight -- which later turned out to not be true --  United sent a security team on the plane to forcibly remove passenger Dr. David Dao from of his seat, dragging him limp down the aisle. The man was left with a bloody nose and possible concussion. Video of the incident quickly went viral. (Videos of people getting beat up on a United Flight has good content written all over it.)

Leave it to the internet -- especially Reddit and Twitter users -- to have a field day with the United Flight 3411 fiasco and the unnecessary manhandling of a United Airlines passenger. (That's probably not in the training video.) The Twitter hashtag #NewUnitedAirlinesMottos was trending on social media after the video went viral.

Even Jimmy Kimmel got in on the jokes. In the past few days, there have been plenty of hilarious memes spoofing the airline's rough, drag and drop approach to customer service.

United Airlines basically beat the guy up and tossed him off their plane -- er, had to re-accommodate him -- because they screwed up. The rest of the passengers on the United Airlines flight 3411 were pretty stunned that all of this was happening. Southwest Airlines might feel like the public bus of the skies, but United Airlines is where the real trash is at, apparently.

Fly the friendly skies of United... unless they don't want you to in which case they'll send someone to punch you in the face. (They're probably going to need to come up with a new slogan after this one.)

United Airlines CEO Oscar Munoz had a whole lot of explaining to do after the worst PR incident under his watch. It didn't seem like a fun time for him.

These are some of the best memes about United Airlines' foray into customer abuse.
