Tim McGraw and Charlie Worsham recently had a backstage jam session, covering a Glen Campbell classic.
McGraw is currently on tour with his wife, Faith Hill. Charlie Worsham has joined the couple on tour for a few shows. Seemingly, McGraw and Worsham are having a blast. They recently recorded some backstage footage of the two covering "Rhinestone Cowboy," and it's incredible. They first discuss which song they want to sing; Worsham runs through a few options before they settle on the Campbell classic.
McGraw sings the first half and then lets Worsham finish. They sing the song so differently, but both are great. At the end of the video, McGraw jokes about his singing career. We'll have to agree with Worsham here McGraw: you're doing alright.
ICYMI, during CMA Fest 2017, Charlie Worsham shared some insight into his new music. He talked about the story behind his song "Old Time's Sake." And yes, he gave an exclusive, solo performance.
Meanwhile, McGraw has been enjoying his time on tour; this isn't the first time he sang a cover with his opening band. McGraw and Midland covered Alabama's "Dixieland Delight" backstage one night. It was way too fun to handle.
