During CMA Fest 2017, Charlie Worsham stopped by Nashville's Mercy Lounge to share some insight into his new music. In this exclusive interview and performance for Wide Open Country, he explains what inspired him to write the sweet and wistful song "Old Time's Sake."
"Old Time's Sake" is featured on Worsham's latest album, Beginning of Things. The project has been hailed for its authentic mix of rhythmic soul, classic country licks and solid storytelling.
Worsham has been busy taking his new music out on the road. The Mississippi native just wrapped up a tour with friend and fellow country talent Brandy Clark. He also snagged a stint opening for Tim McGraw and Faith Hill's massive Soul2Soul World Tour. Next week, he'll kick off a special weekly residency at The Basement East in Nashville.
