One of the most buzzed-about bands of 2017 is Midland, the talented throwback trio backed by Big Machine. Their rapid rise to fame and new record deal helped them snag a spot opening for select dates of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill's Soul2Soul Tour. During a recent tour stop, the foursome decided to have a little backstage jam session.
In this video, shared on Tim McGraw's Facebook page, they let off some pre-show steam by taking on Alabama's classic hit "Dixieland Delight." The four-part harmonies are seriously impressive for just a laid back backstage practice session. Check it out below.
Although their stint with Hill and McGraw is over, they have a packed schedule this summer. Along with festival dates scheduled across the country, they'll open for Kenny Chesney and Darius Rucker in the coming months. You can find a full list of their upcoming dates here.
McGraw and Hill will continue their massive Soul2Soul Tour through the end of October. Other artists tapped for support include Margo Price, Charlie Worsham and Brandy Clark. You can find more information on the tour here.
