Watch Midland and Tim McGraw Cover Alabama's 'Dixieland Delight'

 

One of the most buzzed-about bands of the last few years is Midland, the talented throwback trio backed by Big Machine. Their rapid rise to fame and helped them snag a spot opening for select dates of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill's Soul2Soul Tour. During a Soul2Soul tour stop, the foursome decided to have a little backstage jam session. Check it out above.

In the video, they let off some pre-show steam by taking on Alabama's classic hit "Dixieland Delight." The four-part harmonies are seriously impressive for just a laid back backstage practice session.

Although their stint with Hill and McGraw is over, they have a packed schedule in 2019. You can find a full list of their upcoming dates here.

The Texas trio was nominated for New Artist of the Year, Vocal Group of the Year and Single of the Year (for "Drinkin' Problem) at the 2018 CMA Awards. The band most recently put their own spin on the Jerry Reed classic "East Bound and Down."
