Fan Goes Into Labor at Taylor Swift Eras Tour Stop

Tori Hedges will remember the night for more than Taylor Swift's career-spanning set list.

A Taylor Swift concert in Cincinnati, Ohio will be forever remembered by one Swiftie, and not just because of the career-spanning Eras Tour set list. With her due date just weeks away, Tori Hedges took advantage of landing a sought-after ticket and attended the show with her mother and a friend.

"We were just happy we could get down there and go, hoping that I would be able to make it, and [I] luckily was able to make it for the most part," Hedges told WKRC.

Things went smooth enough during Swift's set, and then the trio began their exit from Paycor Stadium.

"It was literally not even 20 minutes after she got off the stage when we were leaving, going down the ramp," Hedges said. "That's when I was like, 'I think, I think I got to go to the bathroom.'"

Hedges water had broken, and her baby was certainly going to make the night a memorable one.

"When my friend realized what was happening, she started freaking out and grabbed whoever the first person she could find outside of the bathroom," Hedges added.

A stranger identified by the New York Post as Niko Lacobucci called 911.

"She came right up to me and said, 'My friend's water just broke,'" Lacobucci said. "She goes, 'Should we call 911?' and I said, 'I already did. How do you think you're going to get out of here with all of these people? They're just going to open up and let you drive right through?' With an ambulance, they will."

Medical personnel got Hedges to the hospital in time for her son, Lyle, to be born an hour later.

"People say that I started my new era as being a new mom," Hedges said (as quoted by the New York Post). "Leaving the Eras Tour and going into my new one."
