Sam Elliott Voices New Joe Biden Campaign Ad: 'There is Only One America'

Yes, that's Sam Elliott's instantly recognizable golden voice in the latest campaign ad for former vice president and 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden. The ad, which aired during Game 1 of the World Series, features Elliott's voice over images of United States landscapes and video of Biden and Kamala Harris while an instrumental version of The Star Spangled Banner plays.

"No Democratic rivers, no Republican mountains, just this great land and all that's possible on it with a fresh start. Cures we can find, futures we can shape, work to reward, dignity to protect," Elliott says in the ad..."There is so much we can do if we choose to take on problems and not each other, and choose a president who brings out our best. Joe Biden doesn't need everyone in this country to always agree, just to agree that we all love this country and go from there."

The Biden campaign ad premiered on Oct. 20, just days before the Nov. 3 election day.

Elliott became a trending topic on social media after the ad aired, with some viewers wondering if the deep-voiced narrator was really the actor.

While some fans may be surprised by The Ranch actor's involvement in the Biden ad (his cowboy image is frequently used in conservative memes), this isn't the first time Elliott has weighed in on political issues.

The Big Lebowski, Road House and A Star is Born actor let his thoughts on now-President Donald Trump be known during a 2016 interview with his The Ranch co-stars.

"Looking down on middle America has kind of been a tradition in the movie business maybe for a long time. I don't think those people out there between here and the east coast are necessarily just because they're there are in Donald Trump's camp. You're talking about them not being very smart if they're going to get in that camp as far as I'm concerned. I think we're going out of our way on this show [The Ranch] to say the opposite about these people."
