The Pioneer Woman Boarding House Promises 'Cowboy Luxury'

Ever wondered what a night spent in "cowboy luxury" would be like? Wonder no more, folks, because the Pioneer Woman Boarding House in Pawhuska, Oklahoma is officially open for reservations. As of this morning, there are only two dates open (April 17 and 18) after email subscribers had the first round of reservations. On the Book Your Stay page of the Boarding House website, there is a note that dates for after September 15 will be available for booking soon.

This is also our first full view of the rooms and amenities that the new project has to offer. All of the renovations and decor was led by Ree and Ladd Drummond, of course, so you know you can find some sweet touches in the new hotel rooms. Each room is themed in design and decoration. You can select the room you'd like to stay in on the reservation page if it's available for the date you select.

Take in the sights and sounds of downtown Pawhuska from one of the balconies on the three-story building. Inspired by visits to downtown Houston and New Orleans, Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond knew that balconies were a must-have for this small town boutique hotel. Everything from the ceiling tiles to the bathrooms in the rooms were carefully selected for the right touch of cowboy luxury, y'all.

And when you're ready for breakfast, head on down to the Pioneer Woman Mercantile for some seriously delicious baked goods and coffees. We even picked our must-try Mercantile dishes out here!

The Pioneer Woman boarding is, as Ree likes to say, a loving project from her husband Ladd. The building once held Puryear's Drug Store and the old murals were kept in-tact during the renovation project. If you're planning a trip to visit Pawhuska, take in the full Pioneer Woman experience with a trip out to Drummond Ranch for the free Lodge Tours. If you're able to book a room in the 8-room hotel, you'll have a fully immersive Pioneer Woman experience.

So if you're ready to check out the lovely boutique from your favorite Pioneer Woman and Marlboro Man, head on over to the Boarding House's website to learn more. We're already swooning over the Emerald Room, just saying.
