Lainey Wilson's Boyfriend Shares Funny Behind-the-Scenes Look at Their Relationship

The clips give fans a look inside the couple's adorable relationship.

Now that Lainey Wilson has publicly announced her relationship with former NFL player Duck Hodges, fans are getting to see more glimpses into their life as a couple. In fact, Duck, whose real name is Devlin, recently let fans in on a funny moment between the two of them in a video shared to TikTok.

In the short clip, Duck and Wilson are in the car, and Wilson sings along to a song in humorous fashion. The "Heart Like a Truck" singer is clearly being silly in the clip, as she continues singing a few notes in a jazzy, overdramatic tone. Hodges, meanwhile, simply videos the moment and laughs. At the beginning of the clip, Wilson isn't aware she's being recorded, but she has no problem with it when she finds out. Instead, she takes the song up a notch and grabs Hodges' hat while singing to him and the camera. Hodges posted the video, writing, "Y'all asked for more BTS... here ya go."

In another sweet video shared by the former football player in early August, he crashes Wilson's meet and greet at a show. While Wilson is backstage meeting fans prior to a concert, Hodges runs from behind a truck and surprises his girlfriend with a beer in hand. The singer is surprised at the sight of Hodges, and she sends a little pretend kick his way while laughing at his antics. The two then pose for a sweet photo before Wilson gives Hodges a kiss on the cheek. He wrote "Nice meeting you @LaineyWilson" in the caption.

Wilson publicly debuted her relationship with Hodges at the 2023 ACM Awards in May when she brought him as her date. Wilson later revealed that she and Hodges had been together for more than two years before publicly announcing the relationship. She also shared that he encourages her to chase all her dreams.

"He knows what it's like chasing a dream because he's done that for himself. He was in the NFL, he tried out for the Steelers and made it and had a really great run with them. Went out to the LA Rams and did that. But I'll tell you, he is good as gold. [He] supports me, would never come in between anything that I'm trying to do. He's like, 'Go get it girl.'"
