Sources have yet to confirm whether Kevin Costner is officially a Swifty, but the 68-year-old Yellowstone star appeared to be enjoying himself at Taylor Swift's SoFi Stadium concert on Monday.
TMZ shared the video, which shows Kevin and his 13-year-old daughter Grace Avery occupying a luxury suite. While Taylor sang her famous breakup anthem, Grace Avery enthusiastically sang along and danced. In contrast, Kevin, more subdued, listened to the lyrics with a smile.
It's safe to say he could relate to the singer known for writing scathing takedowns of her exes. He's in the midst of a nasty divorce with Christine Baumgartner. Kevin and Christine's marital strife, which culminated in her departure from their home after legal disputes, is far from resolved. Disagreements persist regarding child support and a potentially contested prenuptial agreement.
Christine was also spotted vacationing in Hawaii with Costner's friend Josh Connor. While sources close to Christine and Josh deny any romantic involvement, Costner's people say he is "none too pleased" about them sharing a sunny surfside getaway.
While his marriage is kaput, Costner's career is going swimmingly. The first half of the final season of Yellowstone aired earlier this year and he's begun production on his passion project, Horizon: An American Saga, an upcoming American epic Western film series Costner co-wrote, produced, directed, funded and stars in. He's also teamed up with Morgan Freeman to co-produce the Civil War spy drama The Gray House, a six-hour limited series for Paramount Global.
He's been so busy juggling multiple projects that he's had to put the final episodes of Yellowstone on the backburner — much to the chagrin of fans of the hit drama series. Yellowstone co-creator Taylor Sheridan was miffed he had to truncate the finale because of Costner's obligations to Horizon. With the ongoing Writers Guild of America and The Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Artists strikes, when we'll return to the Dutton ranch to see how things shake out is anybody's guess.
