Kelly Clarkson was a busy woman at the 2019 ACM Awards last night (April 7), performing with both Jason Aldean and Dan + Shay, but one guy didn't seem to recognize the music superstar.
On Twitter, the original American Idol-winner and bona fide music superstar revealed that while she was sitting in the audience at the ACM Awards, she was mistaken for a seat filler.
It's an embarrassing mistake to make, but the humble Clarkson didn't seem to take offense.
"The greatest thing by far that happened to me tonight was being asked to move because some guy thought I was a seat filler at the ACM's tonight #CantWinEmAll literally, it made my night because he was so serious, and I just politely said no hahaha!!" Clarkson wrote.

Clarkson, who recently wrapped her Meaning of Life Tour, is currently prepping for her new daytime talk show, which is set to debut this fall.
During a recent tour stop in Nashville, Clarkson teamed up with Reba McEntire to perform a medley of hits.
