See Reba McEntire Lasso Matthew McConaughey on 'The Late Late Show'

Reba McEntire stopped by The Late Late Show with James Corden this week and got to show off a bit of her rodeo skills. During a segment called "Yay or Nay?" the host challenged each of the guests —including Jimmy Buffett —  to showcase some of their lesser-known talents. Corden told McEntire her challenge was to lasso "a steer" live in the studio. And by steer, he meant her fellow talk show guest, Academy Award winning actor Matthew McConaughey.

McConaughey, donning a horned viking helmet for the challenge, was no match for the country queen. McEntire got the rope around him in record time, much to the audience's delight.

If that wasn't enough, we even get to see McConaughey perform his own rendition of Buffett's "Margaritaville."

McEntire released her new album Stronger Than the Truth today (April 5). The album, produced by Buddy Cannon, is a return to McEntire's traditional country and western roots.

The legendary singer will host the Academy of Country Music awards on Sunday, April 7. She'll also perform her new single "Freedom" during the broadcast.
