Binge watchers with no desire to go out in the cold and lovers of all things Hallmark can get paid $1,000 to maintain their holiday season plans: watching hours of Hallmark Channel Christmas films and sharing hot takes about them on social media.
A press release from CenturyLinkQuote (as quoted by Milwaukee's NBC affiliate TMJ 4) lists the following guidelines for the perfect candidate:
Rule #1: You don't like Christmas — you love it.
Rule #2: You must be over 18 years old and be a US resident.
Rule #3: You know how to work the 'Gram, Twitter or Facebook. We want someone who's willing to document their Hallmark marathon with their followers.
"The holidays are the most wonderful time of year! We want to understand what role Christmas movies play in people's holiday traditions, and how folks are choosing to watch their most beloved holiday classics," CenturyLinkQuote shared in a press release.
The online form to apply asks applicants to share their favorite Hallmark Christmas movie and describe what role Christmas movies play in their holiday traditions.
If you're hired, you'll have to watch 24 different Hallmark movies by Christmas day. That's over $40 per new movie for a task that doesn't delve from a lot of people's holiday traditions.

The Hallmark movie dream job comes with a movie-watching kit including a streaming service subscription, a packet of hot cocoa, a box of Christmas cookies, a string of fairy lights, a mini Christmas tree and "more Hallmark swag than you could ever need."
Applications for the Christmas dream job will be accepted through Dec. 6. Per CenturyLinkQuote, a 2-3 minute video "showcasing your best holiday spirit" will offer applicants a better shot at winning a lucrative excuse to watch Hallmark Christmas movies.
FastCompany reports that the winner must agree to allow Internet Service Partners to use their name and image in "any publicity material" so be sure to read that fine print first.
Hopefully, the lucky winner gets paid to watch Dolly Parton's appearance in Christmas at Dollywood. The film stars former Wonder Years actor turned Hallmark holiday film regular Danica McKellar as a Broadway producer and single mother named Rachel. She ends up co-producing a Christmas show back home in the mountains at Dollywood with--you guessed it--an eligible bachelor named Luke. The film's tagline reads: "As the pair meets in the middle to please the boss, little do Rachel and Luke realize love lurks in all the unexpected places because this isn't the Great White Way. Or Hollywood. This is Dollywood!"
