How to Make This Simple Grilled Sweet Potato Recipe

When making this tasty side dish, make sure to wash your sweet potatoes thoroughly and scrub the skin before grilling. Then, preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Meanwhile, cut sweet potatoes into slices lengthwise. Place in a large bowl and coat with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Oil the grill grates and add sweet potato wedges in a single layer, giving them about 5 minutes of cook time per side. Remove when potatoes are tender, the skin is crispy and you can insert a fork or knife easily into the slice of potato.

You can even serve this for breakfast topped with guacamole or mashed avocado and a sprinkling of salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. A topping of fresh-cut tomatoes from the garden puts this side over the top!
