Get excited, Garth fans. The country superstar has just revealed plans to release a brand new live album.
According to The Advertiser, Brooks broke the news during a press conference over the weekend while in Lafayette, La. The first night of his run at the Cajundome was recorded for an upcoming live compilation. Although Brooks didn't reveal any additional details, he did tease the news during last week's edition of Studio G.
"I promise you will hear that weekend again and again and again, long after the weekend is over," Brooks told viewers on Facebook Live.
It's unclear if the record will only feature segments recorded during his stop at the Cajundome. This upcoming live release will be his first since breaking records with his two-disc set, Double Live, back in 1998. That release included songs recorded in various stops along his world tour from 1996 through 1998. It still stands as the best-selling live album in music history.
