Get your glasses ready! Instagrammers, business owners, and journalists attended the National Association of Convenience Stores convention this past weekend in Atlanta and have started sharing some brand new items that they are excited to see in the stores soon. New Rotisserie Chicken Pringles and Snickers White have perked our interest, but not as much as new Dr Pepper and Cream Soda.
New Dr Pepper and Cream Soda
Due to hit store shelves as early as March 2020, this new soft drink features all the flavors of original Dr Pepper with a hint of creaminess. Because of the added vanilla flavor, the soda has a milder classic Dr Pepper taste. According to Instagrammer Candy Hunting, the flavor of the Dr Pepper Cream soda is actually better "due to the added vanilla flavor, these aren't as strong on the classic Dr Pepper taste. Therefore, the flavor here is much less polarizing than original Dr Pepper. I actually like this flavor, unlike the original!"
While we are still unsure if the new soda flavor will be limited edition or a new permanent variety, one thing is sure, this new Dr Pepper is just asking for a scoop of ice cream. Move over root beer and Coca-Cola, Dr Pepper & Cream Soda floats are going to be the next big thing and we ain't mad about that at all.
It looks like the new flavor will be available in both original and diet. There's no information yet on how much a bottle of this soda costs, but we can be pretty sure it'll be around the same prices of their other varieties including Dr Pepper Cherry, Dr Pepper Cherry Vanilla, and Diet Dr. Pepper Caffeine Free.
We are counting down the literal minutes.
