The first trailer for Netflix's new reality series Demarcus Family Rules teases a hilarious show that highlights Rascal Flatts' Jay Demarcus, his wife Allison Demarcus and their different parenting styles.
Per the series description on Netflix's website, "Rascal Flatts bassist Jay DeMarcus and ex-beauty queen Allison DeMarcus write their own rules for juggling family and fun in this reality show."
Jay has performed with country music group Rascal Flatts for 20 years and would currently be embarking on a farewell tour alongside bandmates Gary LeVox and Joe Don Rooney if the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic had not put live music on an indefinite hiatus.
The former Allison Alderson is a beauty queen turned co-executive director of the Miss Tennessee pageant. She's a former Miss Tennessee Teen USA (1994), Miss Tennessee (1999) and Miss Tennessee USA (2002) pageant winner. She met her future husband on the set of the Rascal Flatts video "These Days."
The Nashville-based Demarcus family has two children: their daughter Madeline Leigh, age 9, and son Dylan Jay, age 8.
Demarcus Family Rules premieres on Wednesday, August 19.

In other Rascal Flatts news, the country-pop group released a new EP, How They Remember You, on July 31.
