Picture this: the sun in your hair and your toes deep enough in the sand to get that coolness only found after a little bit of digging with your big toes. You've got a spoon in your hand and a bowl full of slowly melting Blue Bell ice cream in your lap. It's not just any flavor; it's the epitome of summer in the sun and the salt breeze kissing your bare shoulders. Ladies and gents, Sea Salt Caramel ice cream is back and better than ever.
The Texas creamery has been churning out ice cream since the beginning of the 20th century, but it seems like the "Little Creamery" has been putting in overtime this summer with all of their new flavors. So far this summer we've been treated to five different flavors and the come-back of Blue Bell's famous fudge bars.
Here's a look at the summer Blue Bell flavors so far this year:
Southern Blackberry Cobbler
Swirled with blackberry flavor and flaky pie pieces, this vanilla ice cream gets a kick from its blackberry swirl sauce. This ice cream is available for a limited time in half-gallon containers.
Peaches and Homemade Vanilla
Celebrate summer peaches with the mouth-watering combination of ripe peaches and Blue Bell's famous Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream.
Krazy Kookie Dough
Fun and colorful, this pint-size flavor features Cake Batter Ice Cream loaded with pink, green and blue sugar cookie dough pieces.
Feel like a kid again with this cotton flavored ice cream colored pink and blue. Scoop it into an ice cream cone and you're all set.
Key Lime Mango Tart
Sunshine almost illuminates from this half-gallon of ice cream swirled with creamy key lime ice cream, graham cracker crust pieces, and a mango sauce swirl. This flavor just came out in your local grocery store so keep an eye out.
Sea Salt Caramel
Finally, the latest of the ice cream flavors, this classic ice cream features a creamy vanilla ice cream swirled with a salted caramel sauce.
Will Blue Bell release another flavor before the summer is over? We will have to wait and see.
