'3 Bed, 2 Bath, 1 Ghost': Real-Life Couple Chris McNally and Julie Gonzalo Star in Spooky New Hallmark Romance

The couple recently welcomed their first child together.

Hallmark stars and real-life couple Chris McNally and Julie Gonzalo recently welcomed a new baby into their home. But in the upcoming Hallmark Channel romance in which they co-star, 3 Bed, 2 Bath, 1 Ghost, they've got a decidedly unwelcome visitor in the house — one of the supernatural variety.

Here's the official description of the film, per Hallmark: "A 1920's ghost refuses to leave estate agent Anna's newly listed home. Worse, the spirit is convinced she cannot 'pass over' until she gets Anna back together with her ex."

3 Bed, 2 Bath, 1 Ghost premieres on the Hallmark Channel on Saturday, October 7 at 8/7 Central as part of the network's Fall Into Love lineup. Watch the sneak peek of the spooky new romance below:

Over the years, McNally and Gonzalo have kept their personal lives on the down low, so fans were shocked and delighted when they announced on Instagram on Sunday, June 5, that they had welcomed a baby.

"Our hearts are full... " Gonzalo captioned the post, which received over 24,000 likes from aww-ing fans. "Welcome baby M."

McNally and Gonzalo first met on the set of the Hallmark Channel's The Sweetest Heart (2018), where they played high school sweethearts who fall back in love.

"The first day we met, it was our camera and our make-up and hair testing. We had chatted and he was busy that weekend doing a play," Gonzalo told FanSided in March 2018 while promoting the TV movie.

According to Us Weekly, sparks flew when the couple practiced reading lines together. "At the end of the day, chemistry is about feeling good about the person you're with and knowing their energy," Gonzalo said. "So we took the time to just kind of chat and talk and get to know each other as much as we could in the little time that we had. And then throughout the film, we were able to get together after work and read some lines."

McNally has expressed interest in doing a Sweetest Heart sequel, but for now, 3 Bed, 2 Bath, 1 Ghost will have to serve as a spiritual successor — emphasis on "spiritual."

Watch the premiere of 3 Bed, 2 Bath, 1 Ghost on Saturday, Oct. 7 at 8/7c.
