The Zac Brown Band and Shawn Mendes are the latest artists to pair up for CMT Crossroads, which has been matching country artists with pop and rock artists since its debut in 2002.

Ahead of the episode's premiere, CMT shared the singers' jubilant rendition of Zac Brown Band's 2010 hit "Keep Me in Mind." It's clear from the performance that Brown and Mendes enjoyed sharing the stage. The two take turns singing the breezy tune before letting loose with a jam session along with the rest of the band.

CMT Crossroads allows for each artist to put their own spin on one another's songs so look for Zac Brown Band to take on the 20-year-old Mendes' hits, such as "Stitches" and "In My Blood."

The concert, which airs on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 9 p.m. CT on CMT, was recorded at The Factory in Franklin, Tenn.

Back in June, Luke Combs and Leon Bridges teamed up to collaborate, performing Combs' "Beautiful Crazy," "When it Rains it Pours" and more.

CMT Crossroads has brought about several memorable collaborations over the years, including Kacey Musgraves and Katy Perry, Vince Gill and Sting, Maren Morris and Alicia Keys, Lucinda Williams and Elvis Costello and many more.

Zac Brown Band are currently working on a new album, the follow-up to 2017's Welcome Home.

This Wednesday (Oct. 17) CMT will focus on the women of country with the 2018 CMT Artists of the Year special, which will honor Carrie Underwood, Maren Morris, Miranda Lambert, Kelsea Ballerini, Kimberly Schlapman and Karen Fairchild of Little Big Town and Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott. Loretta Lynn will be named Artist of a Lifetime. Her award will be presented by Sissy Spacek, who famously portrayed Lynn in the 1980 biopic Coal Miner's Daughter.
