Listen to Kacey Musgraves and Ronnie Milsap Put a New Spin on 'No Getting Over Me'

Ronnie Milsap's 1981 hit "No Getting Over Me" gets an update on the country singer's upcoming album Ronnie Milsap: The Duets (out on Jan. 18). For the country groover, Milsap teamed up with Kacey Musgraves, a student of Milsap's signature sound.

Thankfully, we don't have to wait for the album's release to hear the collaboration, which Milsap shared this week. Musgraves and Milsap, two artists who know something about blending genres, put a contemporary spin on the '80s pop-country smash while keeping its timeless slap-groove sound.

"Recorded one of my favorite songs with one of my favorite artists," Musgraves wrote on Twitter.

Recorded at Milsap's Ronnie's Place recording studio in Nashville, the album includes duets with several country superstars, including Dolly Parton, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, George Strait, Willie Nelson and Little Big Town.
