Ingredients

  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbs baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbs rosemary
  • 1 tsp Thyme
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted and cooled
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbs orange zest
  • 1/2 cup fresh cranberries, chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a donut pan with cooking spray and set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, rosemary, and thyme. Whisk together.
  • In a separate mixing bowl, combine eggs, sour cream, sugar, butter, and vanilla extract. Stir together until combined.
  • Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Stir to combine until a sticky dough forms. Add orange zest and chopped cranberries. Stir.
  • Place 1/3 cup of dough in each donut round.
  • Bake in oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. If you fill donut pan larger than 1/3 cup per round, bake for 20 minutes.
