1/2cupseltzer(For best results, use a citrus flavor)
2tbsporange liquer
Flaky sea salt
Instructions
Strawberry Simple Syrup
In a blender or food processor, puree strawberries until liquified. If you don't want to mess with appliances, grab a potato masher and get to smashing in a large bowl.
In a medium saucepan, combine strawberry puree, water, and sugar together. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Strawberry Margarita Popsicles
Once syrup is cool, combine in a large pitcher with limeade, tequila, seltzer, and the orange liqueur.
Pour into popsicle molds. Sprinkle each filled mold with flaky sea salt.
Freeze for 6 hours, or overnight for best results.
To enjoy, eat solo or add to a glass and top with seltzer!
Notes
If you're a purist, use fresh lime juice in place of limeade for a more tart taste. If you'd rather forget about the tequila element, the flavors and sweetness of limeade pair perfectly to mask the booze.
If you prefer a chunkier popsicle, this is for you! If you'd like a smoother bite, strain your strawberries through a fine mesh sieve before creating the simple syrup.
