Notes
Sotol is spirit popular in West Texas and northern Mexico, tasting somewhere between tequila and mezcal, distilled from the flowering sotol plant, also known as the desert spoon. Though the plant's not technically related to agave, due to its long history and cultural importance, the liquor's considered tequila's brother, or at least cousin. [embed_recipe id='12020']
