3ouncesbittersweet or semisweet baking chocolatechopped
1cupheavy cream
2tablespoonspowdered sugar(confectioner's sugar)
Instructions
Put the chopped chocolate in a bowl. In a heavy saucepan, add your heavy cream before adding the powdered sugar. Heat on medium heat until boiling. When hot, pour the cream over the chocolate until melted.
Cover and chill for several hours.
Beat the whipped cream by hand or with an electric mixer/hand mixer after chilling.
Refrigerate for another hour or so before using/serving.
