1/2cupunsalted butter, softened to room temperature
6Tbspwhite sugar
6Tbspbrown sugar
1/2tspvanilla extract
1egg
1/2tspsalt
1cup + 2 Tbspall-purpose flour
1/2 cupmilk chocolate chips
1/2cupdark chocolate chips
1/4cupwalnuts
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugars until creamy with an electric mixer. Add in vanilla extract, egg, salt, baking soda, and flour and mix until a dough forms. Stir in the chocolate chips and walnuts until combined.
Preheat Air Fryer to 350 degrees F and line rack with a piece of parchment paper or aluminum foil. Drop 2-tbsp doughballs onto the sheet and flatten slightly. Bake cookies until golden brown, about 5-8 minutes depending on Air Fryer model, remove the rack from air fryer and set aside. Let cool 5 minutes still in the air fryer basket to set.
Notes
Cover the dough with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. You can totally skip this step but refrigerating the cookie dough helps set the butter and meld the flavors together.
