Our Favorite Venison Burger Recipe

Venison burgers are a great alternative to the usual hamburger or cheeseburger you see at most BBQs. See our favorite recipe.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground venison
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teapsoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons frozen butter - grated
  • burger buns
  • shredded cabbage
  • sriracha mayo

Instructions
 

  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  • Mix together deer meat, soy sauce, oyster sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, ginger, salt, and pepper in large bowl.
  • Add in grated butter and quickly mix, making sure the butter does not melt.
  • Form the venison meat and other ingredients into patties and cook on the grill, cooking for about 5-8 minutes per side.
  • Cook to desired doneness and let rest for 5 minutes before assembling burgers with other ingredients.
