A groom has tragically died after collapsing shortly after his wedding ceremony in Egypt.

Kyrillos Wadih, 27, had been celebrating his marriage with relatives and guests in the Sohag Governorate when he suffered a medical emergency near the end of the ceremony.
Friends and family say Wadih suffered a sudden cardiac arrest before sadly passing away. However, authorities have yet to confirm his exact cause of death.
Wedding Groom Dies After Collapsing at Ceremony
Local reports claim that the wedding had gone according to plan until Wadih became visibly exhausted toward the end of the celebrations.
As guests began leaving the wedding hall and making their way to a reception room, Wadih suddenly collapsed while walking out alongside his bride.
Nearby guests and loved ones immediately rushed to help before taking the 27-year-old to a local hospital. Doctors later pronounced him dead.
While officials have not publicly confirmed what caused the medical emergency, Wadih's loved ones believe he suffered a cardiac arrest.
Following the tragedy, family members, friends and local residents gathered for funeral prayers at Abu Seifein Church in Al Kosheh to pay their final respects.
Newlywed Killed in Helicopter Crash After Wedding
The tragedy comes just months after another groom died shortly after his wedding, this time in a helicopter crash in Georgia.
Davie Fiji, 25, and the pilot were killed after the helicopter plunged into a wooded area shortly after leaving the wedding celebrations.
Remarkably, Davie's new wife, Jessni Fiji, survived the crash with cuts and bruises.
A preliminary report from the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) revealed that the crew had not filed a flight plan before takeoff.
According to the NTSB, the Robinson R66 helicopter "was substantially damaged" when it crashed near Dawsonville shortly before 10 p.m. local time on May 29.
The couple had planned to leave their reception at around 9:30 p.m. and fly to Atlanta to begin their honeymoon.
However, foggy conditions reportedly delayed their departure after Davie, who was also a pilot, raised concerns about poor visibility.
Despite those concerns, the helicopter eventually took off with the newlyweds onboard.
The pilot attempted to climb to a higher altitude to avoid the fog but encountered difficulties shortly after takeoff, resulting in the fatal crash.
