'The Voice': Reba Gets Emotional as Jordan Rainer Represents Oklahoma at Playoffs

"You represent Southeastern Oklahoma so well..."

Reba McEntire whittled her team down to three singers during Monday night's Playoff round on The Voice, and the coaches got to see some inspired performances in the process. Team Reba member Jordan Rainer took the stage first, singing a tune that speaks to her upbringing in Oklahoma: Little Big Town's "Boondocks."

Before her performance, Rainer spoke of growing up in a log cabin in Atoka, which is less than an hour from McEntire's hometown of McAlester and where the coach owns her restaurant, Reba's Place. Rainer had a successful rehearsal with McEntire, and she stepped on the stage the night of the Playoffs to offer a unique version of the song. One thing McEntire pointed out during rehearsals is that Rainer knows who she is as an artist, and she doesn't waiver from that. She showcased her identity during the performance, offering a twangy version of the tune with a rock edge.

The coaches enjoyed her performance, and each commented on Rainer's unique artistry.

Niall Horan told Rainer the performance felt like a real gig, calling it "perfect." He added that Rainer's presence in the live shows is a must, saying, "You have to go through."

Stefani mentioned that she loved "every second" of the performance. John Legend praised Rainer on her artist identity, saying they have a "clear" and "compelling" sense of who she is.

When McEntire got the chance to speak to Rainer, she got emotional, saying that Rainer is an exceptional representation of their shared home state.

"You represent Southeastern Oklahoma so well with your humor, your great attitude, your look, your talent, your versatility," she said.

After each of McEntire's singer performed, the coach chose Rainer to move forward to the live shows. She joins two other talented female singers on Team Reba.

The Voice airs Monday and Tuesday nights on NBC.
