'The Voice': Contestant's Daughter Helps Choose Mom's Coach After Gretchen Wilson Cover

Leilani didn't hesitate when picking her mom's 'The Voice' coach.

Tuesday's (Oct. 3) episode of The Voice ended with a four-chair turn for Jacquie Roar, a 37-year-old wedding DJ from North Plains, Ore.

Roar earned interest from all four coaches with a raucous cover of Gretchen Wilson's 2004 country hit "Here For the Party." As it did for Wilson, the song highlighted Roar's vocal range and her stylistic blend of country twang and rock 'n' roll fervor.

"I really like your song choice. I'm very familiar with that," Reba McEntire said following the performance. "Your range is incredible. I love the low parts and the high parts, and you did a great job."

John Legend asked if it's a "formality" that the fringe and rhinestone-sporting contestant would join Team Reba— though as Legend joked to Roar, "our jackets match... kind of."

McEntire and Niall Horan made their own compelling pitches, as did Gwen Stefaniwho admitted to being intimidated when vying against McEntire for country talent.

"I would love to work with you," Stefani said. "I feel like I'm in this new period of my life where I really learned a lot about country music and fell in love with country music in a way I never thought I would. I would love for you to be on team Gwen."

After hearing the panel's feedback, Roar asked if she could consult with her daughter, 6-year-old Leilani. The youngster seized the moment as a way to meet her mom's guide as the newest member of Team Gwen.

"I really like your songs," Leilani told Stefani. "I always wanted to see you in real life."

Leilani meeting Stefani and claiming a Team Gwen t-shirt on air was too adorable for any sour grapes among the other coaches, who were all smiles over one of the sweetest moments from Season 24's blind auditions.
