'The Voice' Coaches Can’t Believe This Singer Isn’t Already a Star After Playoff Performance

"I just can't believe you don't have a whole album..."

The Playoff round kicked off on "The Voice" Tuesday night (Nov. 21), and Huntley shocked and impressed the coaches once again. The singer is becoming known as a powerhouse artist with palpable star quality, and that came through even more with his cover of David Kushner's "Daylight."

Huntley took the stage with confidence, letting every ounce of his voice to shine through. His coach Niall Horan couldn't help but smile after his performance, and the other coaches gave their input. Gwen Stefani called his vocals "masterful," and she couldn't believe the 33-year-old isn't already a music sensation.

"I just can't believe you don't have a whole album," she said. "If I had a label, I would just snatch you. You're amazing!"

John Legend agreed with Stefani, saying that Huntley's performances go "beyond a competition." He then handed him a huge compliment that would give any artist confidence.

"It's beyond the lives," Legend said. "You belong as one of the Grammy-winning artists that are singing in our finale."

Horan then praised his team member for his performance.

"Everybody here loves you, everyone thinks you're amazing. I know for a fact that the people of America are falling in love with you more and more," said Horan. "You're one of those people that's got something to say to the world. When you have a voice like that, that's gonna be one hell of an album, and I'm going to buy it.

Tuesday night's Playoff round featured performances from all of the Team Niall members, and the coach had a tough choice ahead of him. He was tasked with cutting his team down from six to three singers, and Huntley made the cut. He will head to the live shows next.

"The Voice" airs Monday and Tuesday nights on NBC, and it is available to stream on Peacock.
