Goodbye Cartwheel, hello Target Circle. Target has introduced its new loyalty program, and Target shoppers are excited. With Target Circle, you can now earn 1% to use later, 5% off your shopping trip on your birthday, special offers, and a chance to direct Target's charitable donations to 800 nonprofit-organizations. This is a great way to save if you don't use a Target credit card and use your debit card frequently at Target.

The Target Circle loyalty program will also tailor special savings based on the categories you shop most frequently for. I browsed the Target offers and I was impressed. The Target circle offers have major discounts on food, health, household supplies, and more! As for giving initiatives, this is your chance to make a positive impact on local communities.

There are no fees to join the new loyalty program. Just make a Target.com account and start earning cashback and take advantage of savings.

How to Earn

- Enter your phone number or scan your Wallet barcode in store
- Shop with your Target.com account
- Link your REDCard
- Enter your receipt on the dashboard

Rick Gomez, executive vice president, chief marketing and digital officer for Target, said Target worked directly with guests to develop Target Circle. From savings and philanthropy, I would say Target and loyal customers had the right idea. REDcard holders, you can still save 5% instantly with a Target REDcard. You don't even have to visit a Target store to take advantage of these offers.

I updated my Target app and was instantly added to the new program. On your next Target trip, be sure to give your number to the cashier at the checkout! Let them know you'd like to be part of the Target Circle rewards program. As someone who actually doesn't have a REDcard, I appreciate this.

Besides the major perks, it doesn't take much effort to be part of the new Target Circle program. If you're not looking to take advantage of a Target credit card, at least make use of some savings through Target Circle.
