This friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is a little too friendly.

There have been three reports of a stalker leaving packages outside the same Hailsham address last year, and one time he was wearing a Spider-Man mask.

UK Sussex Police

shared to their Facebook a plea for the public to help identify the stalker. The footage shown was captured from the home's smart doorbell recordings. Only two incidents were shown in the video. In one, the stalker acknowledges the camera and waves at it before offering a thumbs-up.

The web-slinging stalker visited the house to deposit packages on February 14, August 26, and December 29, according to the BBC.

The contents of the packages are unknown, although it's clear this is more than a gag or a joke. Operation Cursor has been launched to focus on capturing the serial stalker.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police, per The Mirror, said, "Inquiries into these incidents are ongoing and we are asking anyone with information to report it to police. If you have CCTV, photos or witnessed anything suspicious in the area, you can contact police by filling an online reporting form, or by calling 101 quoting Operation Cursor."

People Confused As To Why The Spider-Man Stalker Hasn't Yet Been Caught

When Sussex Police shared the video and plea to Facebook, many comments brought the same thing up.

If the stalker has been touching the packages, and on one occasion rung the doorbell, why hasn't fingerprint analysis been enough to identify the stalker?

"No gloves so what about prints from the packages?" one asks. On both shown visits, the masked stalker isn't wearing gloves, leaving his prints on the package.

However, it's possible this individual has never had his fingerprints taken. Popular belief is that police can only identify someone through their fingertips if they have already committed a crime. This isn't true, as people can get fingerprinted for a variety of other reasons.

However, if someone has never had their fingerprint taken, then it won't be on the system for the police.

From what we know, it's likely his fingerprints have likely been scrutinized heavily, but no matches came up.

Let's hope he gets caught soon.
