TMZ reports that, after a warrant was issued for her arrest, Lisa Hochstein voluntarily surrendered herself to police. The reality star's attorney, Jayne Weintraub, shared that Hochstein "has nothing to hide."
What Happened to "The Real Housewives of Miami" Star?
We reported yesterday that the 43-year-old Hochstein and her now ex-boyfriend, Joey Glidden, had been charged with "unlawfully and intentionally" intercepting, trying to intercept, or had someone else intercept "oral statements by Lisa's ex-husband, Leonard 'Lenny' Hochstein, and those Lenny spoke with."
According to court documents, the alleged incident occurred between March 12 and March 31, 2023.
In addition to these developments, Glidden was taken into custody over the weekend.
Lisa was married to Lenny from 2009 to 2022. They share a son, Logan, and a daughter, Elle.
Although Lisa and Lenny finalized their divorce in November 2024, the process was described as contentious. Lenny alleged that Lisa monitored his calls with a listening device in his vehicle.
The accusation coincided with the public revelation of Lisa's relationship with Glidden. Lisa denied the allegation at the time, calling it "nonsense."
Lenny and Lisa then exchanged allegations of infidelity and abuse. Lenny filed a defamation lawsuit against Lisa in December 2023.
What Does Lisa Hochstein Have to Say About the Incident?
Hochstein's legal team, along with Glidden's, told TMZ that the charges are part of an aggressive divorce battle. They believe that the matter "does not belong in criminal court."
Amid these developments, the reality star also made an unusual post on her Instagram Stories on Monday, April 13, that appears to be tied to the allegations.
Specifically, the post was structured as a list titled "Strategic Timing." It appears to address claims of a smear campaign, possibly linked to her recent legal situation.
The list breaks down like this:
- He doesn't release damaging information randomly.
- He times it for maximum destruction - before a court date, a career milestone, a custody hearing.
- The goal is to cause the most damage at the most vulnerable moment.
