Randy Orton Sends Two-Word Message to Jelly Roll After Shock RKO

Randy Orton hit Jelly Roll with an RKO during a recent appearance on Friday Night SmackDown, less than an hour after his first WWE win.

There's no such thing as friendship in the WWE. Sooner or later, your closest friends will become your biggest enemies. Jelly Roll learned that lesson the hard way on Friday, March 27, when he ate a monstrous RKO from Randy Orton to close out SmackDown.

Jelly Roll and Orton were previously tag team partners at SummerSlam 2025, facing off against Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul.

The incident occurred after Orton had secured a main event win over Matt Cardona. Following the victory, Cody Rhodes came out to attack Orton as revenge for the vicious beating "The Viper" had handed "The American Nightmare" a few weeks prior. The moment was also notable as it saw Rhodes turn from babyface to heel.

As the two superstars duked it out all over the ring and ringside, Jelly Roll, who was fresh off his first WWE victory, came out to intervene. Unfortunately, Orton didn't like that, and as such, RKO'd Jelly Roll square in the middle of the ring.

Ouch!

After SmackDown went off the air, Orton took to Instagram to send a two-word message to Jelly Roll: "Beautifully Broken."

Orton is likely to feud with Rhodes heading into WrestleMania. However, it's going to be interesting to see how Jelly Roll fits into all of this. WWE can't just leave that RKO as a one-off moment.

Jelly Roll Lost Weight to Compete in WWE

During an episode of WWE Unreal, which aired earlier this year, Jelly Roll could be heard making a promise to Paul "Triple H" Levesque. He noted that he would drop some additional weight if it meant having a spot on SummerSlam.

"I knew that if I didn't do something, it was going to kill me, and I just remember leaving there and being like, 'I will be back next summer a different f-----g human,'" Jelly Roll said. " I just kind of shot my shot, and I was like, 'Hey, Triple H, I'm losing this weight, man. I'm dead serious about this...' On a selfish level, I need this. This might motivate me to push me past that number I've never seen before on the scale."

"Every day, it scared me," he continued. "My fear in wrestling was, had I bit off more than I could chew? Was I physically going to be able to do it? You can imagine my first week, my body was going, 'No! There's no way you're going to be ready for this!'"

Ultimately, Jelly Roll reached his goal, leading to his tag match with Orton. That night at SummerSlam appears to have set up a recurring role with WWE. Now, the "Save Me" singer could be looking at a match at WrestleMania.

However, Jelly Roll might need to avoid any more run-ins with Randy Orton if he wants that to happen.
