Pear Crumble

You can't resist this Pear Crumble made with fresh pears, spicy cinnamon, and a crumbly topping. Serve this with a scoop of ice cream!

  • 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 4 cups peeled and chopped pears
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger


  • Preheat your oven to 350ºF.
  • In a medium bowl mix together the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, and butter until crumbly. This is easiest with your hands.
  • In a separate bowl mix together the pears, brown sugar, cinnamon, and ground ginger. Spread into 6 individual ramekins and top with the crumble mixture.
  • Bake until the top is golden brown, about 25 minutes. Serve warm.


Make a large crumble by putting the mixture in a 9-inch square pan and bake 40 minutes.
Top with a heaping scoop of vanilla ice cream.
