The YouTube star, whose real name is James Donaldson, shared photos today, July 21, from his recent nuptials in an Instagram post. We have the details below.
MrBeast Was All Smiles
MrBeast married his longtime girlfriend, Thea Booysen, in what appears to be a destination wedding on a tropical island. And the only thing whiter than the bride's sheer dress is the online star's smile. In the carousel of images he posted, MrBeast is grinning from ear to ear.
"I found MrsBeast, and it was the best day of my life," he wrote in the caption.
The couple met back in 2022 at a dinner party thrown by a mutual friend. The two then started dating. MrBeast then asked Booysen to marry him on Christmas Day 2024. She then showed off a massive engagement ring in a social media post.
It's Been a Wild Year For the YouTube Star
This year has been filled with plenty of ups and downs for MrBeast. In addition to getting married, he made appearances on Survivor and the World Cup. Last month, he reached over half a billion subscribers on his YouTube channel.
But that doesn't mean that it's been all good for MrBeast. Back in April, a former employee sued his company, Beast Industries, for not giving her proper protected maternity leave.
Plaintiff Lorrayne Mavromatis claimed that she was made to work whilst in the delivery room: "I was still bleeding, and I just had to show up."
Mavromatis also filed a complaint with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She alleges that there is a culture of sexual harassment and gender bias at the YouTuber's company.
A spokesperson has denied Mavromatis' claims, saying they were built on "deliberate misrepresentations and categorically false statements."
This isn't the first lawsuit MrBeast's company has faced. Back in 2024, contestants of the Amazon Prime Video show Beast Games allege they were subject to "unreasonable" and "unsafe" conditions on the show.
