Miranda Lambert Had the Best Response to Online Troll Who Said Her Marriage 'Won't Last'

It's been said before, but we'll say it again: do not mess with Miranda Lambert. The Texan has no time for negativity or Internet trolls — especially those who pass judgment on the state of her marriage.

On Sunday, August 4, Lambert shared a photo of her husband Brendan McLoughlin frying chicken along with the lyrics to her song "Locomotive."

"I'm sweet tea sippin' on the front porch sittin' while my hubby fries chicken and I'm pickin' these straaangs," Lambert wrote.

While most comments were positive, at least one person used the post as an opportunity to knock Lambert's relationship, writing "it won't last."

Lambert, ever the witty and sassy southerner, replied to the rude message as if the commenter was referring to the plate of delicious fried chicken.

"Sure won't!" Lambert replied. "I'm gonna eat every piece of it! Can't waste chicken!"

Lambert announced her marriage in February of this year.

I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you Brendan McLoughlin for loving me for.... me," Lambert wrote.

Lambert released her new single "It All Comes Out in the Wash" last month. She shared the studio recording of her song "Locomotive" on the same day. Both songs will be included on Lambert's forthcoming album.
