First, the "Mama's Broken Heart" singer ended her feud with Kacey Musgraves a few weeks back. Not only did the two collaborate on the song "Horses and Divorces," but they also surprised an audience in New Braunfels, Texas, with a surprise performance of their duet.
Then, over the weekend, Lambert posted clips of herself enjoying No Doubt during the band's residency at Sphere in Las Vegas. The sight of a country star rocking out to alternative isn't what has us scratching our heads. It's the fact that the "Just A Girl" band is fronted by her ex-husband's current wife, Gwen Stefani.
So please forgive us if we ended up in some alternate dimension. We're just letting all this sink in.
What's the Story With Miranda Lambert and Gwen Stefani?
Stefani met Blake Shelton during the seventh season of The Voice. She was married to Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale, with whom she shares three kids, while Shelton was married to Lambert.
The two worked on the singing competition show during the next (8th) season, but each of them was going through a divorce. The two forged a bond and, in November 2015, they officially became a couple.
Shelton said, "Gwen saved my life. Who else on earth could understand going through a high-profile divorce from another musician? You can't even imagine the similarities in our divorces."
Some believe that Lambert's divorce from Shelton may have inspired her song "Tin Man."
"Whatever influenced you the most at whatever time of your life, in some way or another, comes out in your art. The 'Tin Man,' I guess, going through a lot of times where I felt pretty empty, I understood a whole new meaning," the singer said.
Stefani and Shelton were officially married on July 3, 2021, while Lambert married Brendan McLoughlin on Jan. 26, 2019.

In the clip, Lambert has a smile from ear to ear, dancing and singing along to "Spiderwebs."
She said that No Doubt was "sooooo good!"
She added, "What a ride!"
Of course, social media users couldn't believe the news, with one user calling it "twilight zone s***."
It goes to show that time and music can heal all wounds.
