Earlier this month, Sabrina Carpenter said something happened to her that no celeb should have to deal with. A man was arrested in her home after allegedly stalking her.
He was later named as William Applegate. According to TMZ, the pop star managed to get a temporary restraining order signed against the man. But now, he's fighting it.
According to the outlet, Sabrina said that 31-year-old Applegate had attempted to enter her home through her front door. She added that he tried to pretend that he knew her, both when talking to her security and the police.
And that's a line of thinking he's continued on, even after receiving a temporary restraining order. Applegate said that the restraining order was "brought against Carpenter's will by her employed security group and the Los Angeles Police Department in conjunction with her legal team as an artifact of a military government program's maligned instructions."

Video Doorbell Footage Shows the Man Attempting to Talk to the Pop Star
According to TMZ, a large part of the restraining order files was the video doorbell footage on Carpenter's home.
The filing describes his approach as "deliberate, calculated and aggressive, which is deeply alarming." Even when security told him to leave, he didn't budge. It took the cops physically moving him to get him out of the way.
The pop star has insisted that she has no idea who the man is. She wrote in her declaration, "William Applegate is a complete stranger to me. I have never met him or communicated with him in any way. I have no desire to meet him or communicate with him."
A second hearing is scheduled later this month to figure out if the temporary restraining order will be extended into a more permanent fixture. Of course, if Applegate's plea isn't heard.
Commenters on social media were concerned for the safety of the pop star. One wrote, "Para-social relationships are legitimately scary... I don't care how she presents herself, that doesn't give anyone the right to harass her at her private residence!"
