Laura Bryna has returned with a new single, "Painkiller," which brings out a more sensitive side of the singer.

"Painkiller" is a pretty big departure from her previous rip-roaring single, "Lil' Bit Of Jesus, Lil Bit Of Hank." With mellow and romantic tones, and stellar vocals, Laura Bryna croons over 'the one' that makes all your pains melt away.

Hang on, I'm getting deja vu here...

After delivering her rockin' previous single, Laura Bryna told us she felt "this pull to show another side of [herself] —something softer, more intimate."

"'Painkiller' came from a really personal place, and I didn't want to hold that back just because the vibe was different. I've never been afraid to change gears or break my own rules, and this felt like the perfect moment to let people in a little deeper. It's all part of the same story—I'm just telling it in different shades."

"Painkiller" is out now on streaming platforms. Check it out below.

Laura Bryna Gets Personal With "Painkiller"

Laura Bryna explained to us the inspirations behind her latest single. It's a single about "someone who doesn't just numb the pain, but actually helps you breathe through it."

""Pain Killer" came from a very real emotional place. It's about that person who becomes your escape, your comfort, your calm when the world gets loud. That kind of connection — where love feels like medicine — that's what inspired this track."

Bryna, ever unpredictable, got a tattoo on her forehead to promote the song. Although it was a stunt tattoo, the application process is the same as a real tattoo. "Let me tell you—it felt very real when I looked in the mirror."

Naturally, the ractions she received were "hilarious — [her] phone blew up with texts like, 'Girl, tell me you didn't!'"

Stay tuned to her socials to watch the videos when they roll out.

With us, Laura Bryna also teased an upcoming project. I asked her if she is planning to release an album at all this year, and this is what she had to say. "As for an album... let's just say, we're building something big. I'm not rushing it, because every song deserves its moment, but the pieces are definitely falling into place. So while I can't give you a release date just yet, I can say that the songs I've been writing, recording, releasing are leading somewhere—and it's going to be worth the wait."

Color me intrigued.
