Kenny Chesney's high-powered performances and soul-awakening music has created a dedicated fanbase like no other. That diehard group of followers, dubbed as No Shoes Nation, is what is inspired him to release a very special new live album.
Live in No Shoes Nation reveals the heart of what makes Chesney's career so notable - the fans. The 8-time Entertainer of the Year spent over a thousand hours combing through his performances from the past decade. With each song, fans will become immersed in an experience that goes far beyond a melody.
"I always say no matter how hard we hit that stage and hurl the music at them, No Shoes Nation has so much energy and so much heart, they come back at us even harder," Chesney said in a recent press release. "But when you can sit and really listen, it's shocking. They are so loud, so in the moment and put out so much awesomeness, it stopped me in my tracks - and reminded me why I feel most alive out there on that stage."
Chesney says Live in No Shoes Nation captures the spirit from the other side of the stage. The album features 29 performances that are a mixture of recognizable hits and rare gems. The performances include a vast variety of appearances, from pop-up gigs to stadium shows, that thrived off the passion of the crowd. The music represents the essence of what he's like each night he walks on stage.

"When you're on stage, in the rush of it all, it hits you so hard and so fast. You take it in, but you never really digest it," Chesney says. "Once the noise in my head died down, I went in to relive some of those amazing nights I'd had with everyone in No Shoes Nation, and the more I listened, the more I wanted to hear. And the more I heard, the more I knew I needed to share these moments with all the citizens of what we call No Shoes Nation, so they could hear how freaking awesome they sound."
Kenny Chesney's ode to fans, Live In No Shoes Nation, comes out on Oct. 27.
