Get ready, Fixer Upper fans. Chip Gaines isn't the only one with a new project in the works. While he's hard at work on his memoir coming in October, his wife Joanna has something up her sleeve as well. Her Instagram reveals that she's developing a book of her own.
"Day 1 of shooting images for my design book! I got so giddy when we captured the first few photos," Gaines reveals in her post.
Day 1 of shooting images for my design book! I got so giddy when we captured the first few photos. We have been preparing for this book for so long and I'm excited to finally see it take shape. It will be a deep dive into all things home and design with lots of pretty details. I can't wait to share it with you! ❤️
The design project looks to be off to a good start. In one photo, you can see a neutral colored room that includes a grandfather clock with additional furniture accents.
Joanna also shared a video that gives a peek into all the hard work that's going into the project. The Fixer Upper star struggles with the perfect placement of a plant while a beautifully decorated mantle sits behind her.
If this is any indicator of what fans should be expecting in the new book, it's going to be a great one. Although there the book's release date hasn't yet been released, Joanna will hopefully share a few more sneak peeks along the way.
