Heidi Klum Is Unrecognizable in Over-the-Top 2023 Halloween Costume

Klum ups the ante yet again with her outrageous attire

Heidi Klum has become known for her elaborate Halloween costumes that render her completely unrecognizable — who could forget 2022's disturbing worm costume? — and this year was no different.

Klum walked the runway of her annual Halloween bash in a gorgeously unsettling peacock costume. The TV host and model was joined by a troupe of acrobats who twirled and flipped around her to imitate the peacock's garish display of feathers.

Her husband, Tokio Hotel guitarist Tom Kaulitz, appeared as her giant egg. She gave him a peck on the cheek for the cameras.

Klum has been making headlines for her stunning costumes since her first Halloween bash in 2000. This year's spooky festivities were held at Marquee, a nightclub in New York City, on Oct. 31.

The party was jam-packed with A-listers dressed in their scariest attire. DJ Questlove offered up the night's entertainment.

Before the evening, Klum hinted to TODAY.com that her costume would be "very, very big and very colorful." She added that she aims to wear "unusual costumes" that are unlike anything she's done before. No small task, considering this is her 23rd consecutive year donning an intricate and head-turning spooky season fit.

In 2011, she rolled onto the runway on a blood-speckled gurney, dressed head-to-toe in a horrifically lifelike skinless suit.

In 2018, Klum and husband Tom Kaulitz — her frequent Halloween collaborator  — arrived as Shrek and Fiona.

Klum made a misstep in 2008 with her take on the Hindu God Shiva. Clutched in the many hands of the Destroyer of Worlds were severed heads. Many critics called the costume culturally insensitive.

Kaulitz's breath was taken away by her 2019 look: a monstrous alien costume and impressive display of body horror special effects.

Klum debuted perhaps her most famous costume yet in 2022. She arrived completely encased in a giant worm outfit. The grotesque garb quickly became a viral meme.
